How to get a referral from your PCP and what to expect
When you need a referral for specialized care, start by visiting your primary care provider (PCP) clinic. The process is simple:
- During your doctor’s visit, they will give you the referral to see the specialist.
- You will then receive a letter or a message through MyChart confirming your referral request is being processed.
