NeighborHealth is dedicated to the privacy protection of its patients, families, visitors, and donors; we will not share the contents of any communications with third-party entities. However, NeighborHealth cannot guarantee that the contents of your internet communications will not become accessible to third parties.

NeighborHealth will never ask for personal health or financial information by email. Please notify Patient Services at 617-568-4600 immediately if you receive an email claiming to be from NeighborHealth requesting personal health or financial information.

NeighborHealth takes the utmost care to employ vigorous online security measures. However, we highly recommend that you do not provide any sensitive or confidential information over the internet. If you choose to do so, be aware that it is at your own risk. Any unlawful or criminal content provided will be subject to law enforcement review.

Information Collection and Use

All information that NeighborHealth acquires through its website is obtained voluntarily and used as represented in this policy. NeighborHealth will use any information collected from our website visitors to develop and/or improve our programs and services; it will not be sold, licensed, or transmitted to third-party marketing companies. NeighborHealth will make reasonable efforts to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information obtained through this website.

By submitting personal information through this website, you grant NeighborHealth the right to transmit, monitor, store and use your information in accordance with this privacy policy. NeighborHealth will only disclose personal information if required by a search warrant, subpoena, or court order. By submitting any other person’s personal information to NeighborHealth, you assert that you have the authority to do so.

NeighborHealth collects and logs the IP address of all visitors to EBNHC.org. An IP address is a unique number that identifies each computer connected to the internet. We collect IP address information to gather information about how our site is being used, including the pages visitors are viewing. Your IP address may be linked to other personal information.

Online Forms/MyChart

Forms on the NeighborHealth website include our newsletter signup formour donation form, and access to MyChart. NeighborHealth makes reasonable efforts to protect and store data submitted through these forms. NeighborHealth is not responsible if unauthorized parties gain access to information shared through online forms. Information submitted through these forms is distributed to the appropriate departments.

It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your password to MyChart or any other login information.

If you think your privacy rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Privacy Officer by mail at NeighborHealth, 10 Gove Street, East Boston, MA 02128 or by calling the Privacy Office at 617-568-4068. These calls will be confidential and will not adversely affect your relationship with NeighborHealth. You can also file a complaint with the Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
