East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and South End Community Health Center have become NeighborHealth.
Honoring our legacy and values, our patients, community members and patient-led Board of Directors have assisted our organization in selecting our new name. NeighborHealth will unify our growing health system under one name that is inclusive of all our clinical locations and reflective of the diverse communities we serve.

In recent decades, our thriving and growing health system is serving many more families, in many more communities through a comprehensive and diverse set of services, programs, and clinical locations. Now, as our state’s largest provider of community-based primary care services, we have an opportunity to unify our growing health system under one name that is inclusive of all our clinical locations and reflective of the diverse communities we serve.
All NeighborHealth, South End Community Health Center, Winthrop Health Center, and all Neighborhood PACE locations in East Boston, Winthrop, Revere, and Everett are part of our health system.
Our new name and logo will start to appear in our buildings, on paperwork and our phone greetings later this year.
There will be no impact on the care you receive. You will continue to receive the same high quality, compassionate care. No changes to clinical teams or staffing will be made related to this name change.
Our address, locations and phone numbers will remain the same. Our website URL will be updated to reflect the new name later this year.
No. Your MyChart portal account will continue to be active.
No. You do not need to notify your health insurance of this change. Your health insurance coverage will not be affected by this change.
There will be a transition period where you will continue to see references to our former name in communications, forms, and systems.
There will be a transition period where we will be updating and installing exterior signage on our buildings.
