If you or a family member is struggling with a mental health or a substance misuse condition or crisis, please know you’re not alone. NeighborHealth’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care Service (BHUCS) offers immediate evaluation, next step planning, and support.
- We provide a calm, safe and therapeutic space to access same-day urgent mental health services, including crisis evaluation and stabilization, as well as access to medication treatment, substance misuse disorder interventions and recovery services.
- Our diverse and highly qualified team of providers approach care in a culturally aware and trauma-informed manner in our patients’ preferred language.
- BHUCS patients may enroll in NeighborHealth primary care, as available, to access a full continuum of ongoing, integrated mental health services, including navigation to community resources.
- Transfer to the Emergency Department and other sites is available for patients experiencing acute conditions.
BHUCS provides services for all individuals, age 6 and above, regardless of insurance and ability to pay. Visit us in person or call 617-569-5800 to make an appointment.
